Privacy policy

  • The Full Board adheres to current data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU/2016/679) (the GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.

    This privacy notice provides details of how and why we collect information about you, and how we manage your information to ensure that your privacy is protected.

  • The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018 allow and regulate the processing of personal data. Article 6 of the GDPR requires six lawful bases for processing personal data. There are different lawful bases depending on the stage at which we are processing your data:

    If you purchase recommendations via The Full Board or if you are in contact with The Full Board via email, we will process your personal data where it is necessary for the performance of our contract.

    If you have previously received recommendations from The Full Board, we will use legitimate interest as a lawful basis for holding and using your personal information.

  • a) when you make an enquiry

    When you contact The Full Board via email about our services, we will collect information to help us satisfy your enquiry. This may include your name and email address.

    All of your personal data is deleted within twelve months of making contact. If you would like this information deleted sooner, please notify us via email at hello@thefullboard.com.

    b) when you purchase recommendations

    When completing the questionnaire upon purchase, you will be asked for ‘personal data’ necessary for the delivery of this service. This includes your name and email address.

  • As part of our service, we use some third party data processors to process your personal data (e.g. Google and Squarespace). These third parties have their own privacy policies relating to data protection and GDPR.

  • We take the security of the data we hold about you very seriously and as such take every effort to make sure it is kept secure. All data is kept electronically using encryption and password protection.

  • The GDPR gives you certain rights in relation to the data we hold about you. We have listed the most relevant rights below. You can read more about your rights at ico.org.uk/your-data-matters

    a) right to be informed

    You have a right to be informed about how and why your information is used, with an emphasis on transparency. This privacy notice makes sure that your right to be informed is upheld.

    b) right to access

    You have the right to request access to a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like to do this, please formally provide a request via email to hello@thefullboard.com

    c) right to erasure and restriction

    You have the right to request that we delete your information, or restrict how we use your information. This is not an absolute right and it only applies in certain circumstances.
